This whole working a regular 40 hour week job is actually kinda nice. I do not miss working and going to college at all. The only thing I do not like about it when Monday morning rolls around I do not want to get up and go to work. I love having the weekends off and I am usually always off by 5:00 pm and I am usually home by 5:15 because I only live a mile and a half from the bank. I am starting to get the hang of the job I just have to learn all the products and services that my bank offers.
Josh has been working wierd hours lately. Now he works all night and with every other weekend off. I did not like last weekend because Josh worked all weekend and the only time I saw him was when he was asleep so I had to make sure I was quiet so I would not wake him up. Josh amazingly sleeps thru everything. He sleep thru me blowdrying my hair, dropping the blowdryer, watching TV, and me constantly walking in the bedroom so I can use the restroom.
I found a Spanish conversation class to take here. I am the most advanced student in the class because the rest of the people in the class are about parent age and of course I have a college degree. But atleast I am getting practice with Spanish which I need since of the DOE problems.
Well I better go now I have to do my Spanish homework.

Working Girl

Well I have been busy the last couple of weeks. I have been training for my job and I never thought there was so much to learn about the job. I have to learn how to process a transaction properly and all the rules and regulations of the job.
I like the job. It is nice to have set hours and the weekends off. That is probably the best thing about the job is having the weekends off. I have not had the weekends off since High School. I forgot this feeling. Also it is nice to be home around 5:00-5:30.
Josh got this game called Grand Theft Auto for his Xbox. He spends hours playing the game and its quite entertaining. He got hooked on it from working all nighters. Also he has a World War 2 game.

Well the job is going good but it is overwhelming. I have a two inch binder of stuff to read and it is quite boring. All the tecnical bank stuff is quite unentertaining. Today I spent the day standing around because I finished reading the binder and then my boss somewhat gave me a quiz on stuff I read and I could not recall that much so I will spend tommorrow reviewing that wonderful exciting binder. Also, I can not touch a computer yet and it drives me nuts because I am helpless to the customers. I have to learn all the bank stuff to help the customers. I am overwhelmed with it but then I think hey I learned Spanish and survived college I think I can learn all this bank teller stuff.
The people I work with are real nice. Mostly ladies that are married and have kids that are somewhere in their 30-40's so I am the baby of the Bank. I hope I learn this job.

I am employed now!

I am employed now and I am so happy! I work at a bank as a teller. I love this job because it is a 8-5 job and guess what I get the weekends off! The only thing is I got to get my body adjusted to this schedule. Atleast there is a Starbucks and Jamba Juice down the street from the bank! Also another thing I love about this job is that the bank is 1.1 miles away from me!
So far the job is quite boring. I am reading this big fat book at how to become a teller. I am about to fall into a boredum coma because of reading that book all day long. I like to read things that are entertaining but not this book. But the people I work with are nice.
The fun thing also is I get free checks and I ordered some fancy ones! I usually get the cheapest one because I just have a problem with paying for paper. So I am really excited about getting my fancy M&M checks! No more generic solid color checks for me as long as I get checks for free!

Still Looking for a job

Job searching really does suck. I look for jobs an there is literally nothing out there for me. The teaching thing will probably not work out because by the time I get thru the paper work I will be leaving Hawaii. And everything I have tried for I have been rejected. This is so self esteem boosting.
All I do is get up exercise and stay at the apartment all day. Well atleast I exercise I guess. This machine thing today try to tell me I have 46 pounds of fat. I really do think the machine is broken because I barely have anything that is giggly. Gees I think this machine promotes anorexia and bulmina. The only thing that is big on me is my hips and butt. There is nothing I can do about it because it runs in the family. Oh well there are more awful things that can run in my family.

I hate looking for a job!

Job searching really sucks! I hate it so much. I went to a Job Fair Wednesday which really did help my job search. The thing that really frustrates me is nobody is willing to pay! There are jobs here in Hawaii that pay 7.50 a hour! That will not even but a gallon of milk. (Thank God I have comminsary privilges!) But I did have a job interview and offer yesterday which I am turning down. It is a security guard job! And it does not pay either. I just was ticked off because they say make 12-13 dollars a hour and they offered me 9.50. Also, I do not think I am vicious enough to be a security guard. I can be easily beat up by a bad person. But I do have a interview tommorrow for some company that wants me to be their entertainment coordinator. I know what the heck but they are offering ten dollars a hour and they told me it could go up after 90 days. Also, I think it is a 9-5 job and weekends off. I want it because of that. I still need to call the DOE Monday and clear some stuff up. This whole applying to become a teacher is such a pain in the booty that I am applying to different jobs.
Josh's birthday is Tuesday! YIPPE car insurance will got down! Josh will be 25! I already ordered a birthday cake with strawberry filling in it. (Josh loves anything with strawberries in it.) And I will be getting him his birthday present once I get a job. I feel bad that his birthday present will be late but Josh says he does not mind. He wants a suit. I know where would he wear it to but he wants it.
